Making leadership training more accountable, effective and sustainable

Here are just a few highlights of some of the innovative enhancements we have made to the way leadership training and development is delivered:

Application Journals - If you are interested in having training participants apply what they learn back on the job, the Application Journal is the solution. This is an enhancement to the well received Insights and Commitments process. Adding the Application Journal demands that participants document specific examples of where they applied course content and the end result. The Application Journal is shared with management and peers to encourage a change in behavior.

Semesters - Typically training is delivered in a series of weekly half-day sessions for perhaps ten weeks. This model is still suitable for many organizations. Some companies have instead opted for fewer sessions, then have a gap of weeks or months, then offer more workshops. This can spread training investment over a longer time period and support a continuous learning culture where training in an ongoing process instead of an event.

Digestion and Application Sessions - Progressive organizations insert a discussion session during the training so that managers and leaders can talk about how to best apply concepts consistently across the company.

Licensing and train-the-trainer available - We can license instructors in your organization to use our proven methods. This can be effective and economical where there are a large number of participants in various sites across the continent.

More experiential learning - Using survival simulations, groups learn how to increase the quality and acceptance of ideas from all team members. Our sports-based coaching simulation builds coaching values across the leadership team. Pit Crew Challenge is the ultimate in team building and learning.

More insights into leadership characteristics - Recognizing that leaders need to gain a greater self-awareness of their strengths and weaknesses, we offer a number of assessment tools and workshops designed to focus on specific areas of development. This makes a great follow-up or advanced session.

Webinars and Tele-seminars - We have the technology to offer training sessions on the web and over the phone either as follow-up to live training or in place of live training where the participants are dispersed over a large geography.
