Communication Confusion

Home » Communication Confusion

The Monday August 28th AM800 segment focused on the need to eliminate confusion and misuderstandings from communication. Typically we use vague terms when requesting other people to do something for us. We might say, “I need this right away!” which could be misunderstood to mean ‘sometime today’ or ‘in the next 3 minutes’.

It is better to specify exactly what you want and when you want it. When you are the sender of communication be more specific. When you are the receiver of communication ask others to clarify for you exactly what they want.

You will eliminate misunderstandings that lead to disappointment and customer disatisfaction.
